I’m a BUSY boy
Wow, I have been trying to keep this thing up to date, but sometimes sleep is so much more appealing 🙂
So to update on my happenings, I have been working like mad. I was looking to see when my next day off of work would be and it isn’t until at least September 5th. Who knows even if then. A lot could happen between now and then. But hey, it will make for some nice paychecks 😀 Should be fun too. I am going to get out of town some. The next two weekends I am going up to Carson (91 & 405) to do sound for the Chargers Training Camp. Feel free to call/email or whatever if you wanna get together for those of you up that way. I am gonna be bored off my ass in the evenings. I get off about 5:30 or 6. The following weekend I get to go to Baltimore, MD to do shows for REO Speedwagon and Sheryl Crow. I think we fly out on Friday the 13th ;-/ Then it is back home for some local shows.
As for recently,
Sunday, I took my mom and bro’s to San Pedro to ship them off to Catalina for the week. Hooray for a week of peace 🙂 After I took a trip down the 91 and took Megs to lunch at Souplantation in Fullerton. Good times as always in Fullerton. Then it was off to the shooting range in O’side to meet up with Floate and Promo for some fun. Mike had never been shooting before so we showed him the ropes. He did pretty well for his first time. Guess all those games and airsoft guns paid off… hehehe 🙂
Tuesday Promack threw a cool lil party, something we have been trying to do for a while. Good to see everyone who came. I had lots of fun.
On Wednesday, My dad and I took my Grandma out to dinner and gambling at Pechanga. I won $174.40 on a nickel slot machine. Can you believe it! It was a “Price is Right” machine. That makes me want to get a group together even more to go to the real thing. Who’s down? I am thinking Winter Break maybe???
Thursday I installed a new fuel pump in my ‘stang… it is no longer a bomb on wheels!!! It was starting to leak pretty badly. Now if I can get it to stop leaking tranny fluid I will be in decent shape.
Today I went downtown SD to the Marriott to start loading in the show I am working on all weekend. I came home and went to dinner with dad. Tonight is our last night at home before everyone else comes back. I got a letter in the mail from Wamu saying that the investigation of my claim was complete, and it was determined that unauthorized activity did occur on my account. Phew… Glad to have that settled.
Well I gotta get up early and go to work, so I think I am off for now.

As I wrap my arms around you, and you around me. I move to a place where time stands still.
Here I hold you for hours, not once letting go. Your hair is filled with the sweet smell of a garden after the rain.
A thunder storms within my heart as I hold your body close to mine. I imagine kissing softly upon your cheek, lingering for but a moment in time. I lower my arms around your waist and become lost in deep inside your eyes.

Can someone PLEASE turn on the A/C?
Damn it is getting hot! I swear I felt like I was in a sauna today at work. I hope this isn’t any sort of preview of what the summer is going to be like.
Today we decided to rip apart the entire electrical panel at the shop because it was not wired correctly. Good thing the phone system is on a UPS. 🙂 We were turning stuff on and off all over the place. I think we may have actually got it all fixed now.
I can’t wait for this slow week to be over. I am looking forward to doing the Dance Performance at FHS this weekend. Anything to get out of the hot shop at this point.
Batch and I went to Islands after work and got some grub. Then I went home, checked my e-mail, and crashed. I was still tired from the other day not getting enough sleep. I went to sleep probably around 7 or 8 and woke back up at like 12am.
Well, I think I am going to grab a snack, take a shower and hit the hay.
